Massage in Wanaka

Marlene Laureys - After gaining a Diploma in aromatherapy and aromatherapy massage in 1997 I went on to learn trigger point massage techniques under both a Wanaka Physiotherapy clinic and Osteopath for 5 years.

I further specialized in trigger point therapy in Christchurch under guidance of a Physiotherapist who teaches Neuromuscular techniques to physiotherapists all over the world, and in different sports massage techniques, being part of the fantastic Russley Sports Massage team for 5 years.

I worked both from Physical Sense Physiotherapy Christchurch from 2008 till 2013 and Russley Sports Massage from 2009 till 2014.

My client base ranges from professional athletes a well as week end warriors or people just wanting headache or sore neck release. Don't take my word for it, go check out my testimonials.

I have always lived an active life style, both professionally and privately. I enjoy being outdoors, and love lifestyle sports. Windsurfing, skiing, hiking, kitesurfing, surfing, and a bit of running and biking to keep cardio fit. I also practice yoga, at least three times a week.

I moved back home to "Wanaka" because I love the place and my beautiful family and friends are here.

Paige - I am a Canadian trained remedial massage therapist.
I have 6 years of experience, working in a clinical environment alongside other health providers.
I enjoy blending clinical work with relaxation techniques to give a focused rhythmic treatment.
I love the outdoors, hiking, walking, biking, and adventuring. I enjoy playing music and learning new skills.

Marketa - I am originally from  the Czech Rebublic where I studied physical education and physiotherapy at Ostravska University.

I´ve worked with the Czech speedskating team and the first league ice hockey team as a sports massage therapist where I mostly focused on legs, but I also  did  full body sports massages.
I have a strong focus on sports recovery, sports diet, and alternative treatment of injuries.

In my time off, I love to be out and about, especially in the mountains, be it mountaineering or ultra running. I road cycle, mountain bike and over winter snowboard and ski tour.

I love being in New Zealand and am hoping to be staying for a while.
